WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU APPLES

The pandemic was a strange time for all of us. But while most of us were sitting in our PJ’s, deciding whether to jump on another Zoom quiz, a couple of industrious fellows were donning their Grandad’s jumpers and taking to the orchards.

After discovering a wealth of unpicked apple and pear trees across Scotland, the chaps asked landowners if they could pick the unused fruit in exchange for a few bottles of homemade cider. And thus Dour Cider was born. We follow this marvellous story of creativity and resourcefulness from apples on trees to bottles on shelves.
